| i think mother's day is also created same as father's day. but, from last few years people are giving much importence to mother's day. it doesn't mean that all the mothers don't celebrate birthdays and thatswhy this is celebrated as mother's day. All the year we will be loving father. But, on father's day the way you wish your father resembles your love to him and makes him more happy on that day.

We pray God daily, but why do we celebrate Festivals on one particular day??? This is similar to that. You don't need to buy a card to express it.
