I am 'somewhat' from Rajahmundry, as I did my B.Sc. from there in 1965. For 3 years I shuttled between Kovvur & Rajahmundry, waiting hours together for the then "Eluru kochi'! (Ther was no Road-cum-Rail bridge at that time. Plus, there was only a 'single' line at that time!)
My native palce is Prakkilanka (Tallapudi), 12 miles from Kovvur.
For one thing I am so happy. Surprisingly this town is getting neater day by day (year by year?).
For us in those days, 'town' meant Rajahmundry alone!
