When my parents came, I had the same problem. I have rented telugu dvd’s online for them.
If you live in apartment, and they allow you to install a dish, Here what you can do. You need to subscribe for 1 year contract, you will get free dish, 1 month free service. But there are some restrictions. The plans You can subscribe to any of two Zee Tv, sony tv and Tv Asia for $24.99 per month. Or ZEE TV, TV ASIA, SET & B4U, zee gold… pick any 4 for $44.99. for all $49.99. You can call Dish network for how to buy the dish (around $300/-) and u can subscribe month to month. I donno much abt Indiana, but there will be many Telugu associations in USA.
If U have PC @ home, there is a gr8 way to enjoy the life in USA to feel like we R in India, that too in Andhra. There R some Telugu Groups in Yahoo viz. 1) andhraconnections 2) telugu_unity 3)telugu2002 4) telugutejam etc..etc.. Hope U know how to subscribe those Yahoo groups.If not plz reply me.
BTW, which University U R studyin in whether it is Indiana state university (or) juss Indiana University. Plz reply me. I planned to do my MS in CS @ indiana univ but somebody told me it is not that good univ so I skipped.
