Hello I am from Duvvur- kadapa (dist), we dont need YSR name for kadapa, we all need what YSR wants to do for kadapa .... guys common gather and collect our openions ...

Even http://www.kadapa.info/ website quotes YSR saying "కడప పేరెతితే నాకు తెలియని ఆన౦ద౦ కలుగుతు౦ది".కన

Dear All,
I know this not the right time to do this while the people are struggling due to floods. But,the Andhra Pradesh Govt has issued a notification to change the Kadapa district name to Dr. Y S Rajasekhar reddy district. And has set 30 days to receive any complaints.
“Kadapa is a corruption of Gadapa, meaning the place where our feet fall before we reach the Lord’s abode (Tirumala). If you remove Kadapa, this historical significance will be lost”
So, please sign the petition against this name change at the link

I am from cuddapah too. I studied in Vidyamandir high school ( anyone here from there) till 10th and Vikram junior college till 12th. Now in US workig. Anyone from proper cuddapah??
