| Given the changes to light bulbs, it's hardly amazing that so many of us toss up our arms. The old, inexpensive incandescent lights, once globally available at the markets, were removed from 2009 and lightweight neon lamps (CFLs) were commonly marketed to take their place. While these bulbs provided off much less warm and provided much greater energy-efficiency - durable up to six times longer - they had their disadvantages.
