On the penultimate day of Srivari Brahmotsavam , on the eigth day, the Malayalappaswami is seated on a high pedestal throne and taken ina procession around the four mada streets around Tirumala for the benefit of devotees who throng the temple town for a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara in various vahanams and in forms .The Rathotsavam festival is a highly emotional event known for the flow of bhakti sangeet , keertans , bhajans and full pitched rendering by the devotees who accompany the procession of the deity .
