On the seventh day evening of the Srivari Brahmotsavam at Tirumala the presiding deity Lord Venkateswara rides atop a Chandra Prabha Vahanam to the delight of thousands of who devotees who gather around the four mada streets to witness the divine event .In the morning Lord Venkateswara was taken around in a Surya Prabha Vahanam and in the evening he is placed atop the Chandra Prabha vahanam.While Surya stands for energy in its basic form and enlivens the living things in the world ,Chandra stands for promoting medicinal values among living beings including plants.
