In perhaps the best news on the weather front, the Met office said on Monday that the heavy rains in the last 48 hours in most parts of the state and the forecast of more rains in the next four days is a clear indication of the revival of the southwest monsoon.In the city, heavy rains led to water logging in several areas, including Punjagutta, Lakdi-ka-pul, Masab Tank, CM’s Camp Office, Raj Bhavan Road, Begumpet, Ameerpet, Yusufguda, Khairatabad, Banjara Hills Road No 1 and 12, NTR Marg, Control Room, Gandhi Bhavan, MJ Market, King Koti, Malakpet Railway Bridge, Secunderabad Railway Station, Alwal and M G Road causing traffic jams.
