The grand procession of Lord Venkateswara on the second day of Srivari Brahmotsavam is on Hamsa Vahanam .Lord Venkateswara in his incarnation as Malayalappaswami will give darshan to his devotees as Veenapani Saraswati atop he Brahmas’s vehicle of Hamsa or Swan . Hamsa also represented the Surya ( sun god ) in Indian mythology as those who had attained spiritual levels with God are also called ‘Paramahamsa’ as well .
