Safe and Home: Sunita "Suni" Williams acknowledges the crowd as she and the rest of the Space Shuttle Atlantis crew returned to
Houston for a NASA welcoming ceremony at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas 23 June 2007. Atlantis returned to
earth after a 14-day mission where the astronauts repaired damage to the shuttle s heatshield and withstood the
malfunction of crucial Russian computers on the space station, successfully attaching a $367 million solar power
module to the station. Williams returned after a record-setting 195-day mission to the space station.
