Burns on 123 Mission: US Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns arrives at the Foreign Ministry for a
meeting with officials in New Delhi, India on 31 May 2007. India and the US today
held high-level talks with Indian officials on a civilian nuclear deal. US President
George W Bush and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh signed the proposed deal in
2006 to allow the United States to cooperate with India in the development of
civilian nuclear technology.
