Celebrities Mourn Death of Telugu Filmmaker Bapu
CHENNAI: Celebrities like Prakash Raj, S.S. Rajamouli, Devi Sri Prasad and Satish Kaushik took to Twitter to mourn the death of legendary Telugu filmmaker Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana aka Bapu who died Sunday following cardiac arrest.
Bapu was 80 years old. In his over four-decade-long career, he had directed 51 films, predominantly Telugu and a few Hindi too.
Prakash Raj: RIP Bapu garu. Take a bow chief for the soul and respect you brought to Telugu cinema. Thank you. Will miss you.
S.S. Rajamouli: It must have been a happy reunion up there. But for us in TFI, it is a deep void.
Sreenu Vaitla: The great director who had an artistic approach towards cinema and an inspiration to many Bapu Garu. RIP sir.
