Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to unveil his “vision document”, a comprehensive action plan for accelerated development of the new State during the maiden budget session of the State Legislature slated to commence on Monday.
Mr. Naidu is gearing up to explain to the legislators the broad contours of the road map encompassing developmental activities leveraging the advantages such as the 1,000-km coastline and natural and human resources, to ensure speedy growth. The action plan follows a series of white papers released by the TDP Government covering various sectors, including irrigation, finances, education and agriculture. Six days for debate on budget
The budget session, according to the tentative schedule, will last 18 days till September 12 and the government has decided to allocate at least six days for the debate on the general budget. Finance Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu will present the annual financial statement for the year on August 20 and it will be followed by one of its kind exclusive budget for the agriculture sector to be presented by Agriculture Minister P. Pulla Rao on August 22.
