Hello Friends, My name is Prakash. Well...to say, I am in a happy positon to see, comparing by health, wealth, reputation and importance...but lacking in only one thing....Job Satisfaction. I am a hardworker right from childhood, crossing many tough times in life and finally ending up in Middle East working as a Technical Advisor for an MNC infact at a very young age(25). Looking into my past. Soon after my Diploma, I have joined in an big organisation simultaneously doing my Graduation. I have really worked hard (am saying this becz I felt)for 4 years after my Diploma. Working from morning to evening and going for the night college to pursue my B.Tech in ECE. Had a marvallous life in college and felt really happy inspite of the difficulty. I passed out with 82% in Engineering, and made many plans to pursue my higher studies. But the technical experience that I have achieved in these 4 years in parallel brougt many offers in front, forcing me to choose the best. Now am working for GE in the Middle East region since 18 months. I am seeing different countries, earning well, and also good reputation in the company. To be more clear, I am able to save as much as a good software engineer in US can. I never felt that I am missing my family as I go home (India) thrice in a year. Now the main thought that is eating my mind is feeling myself not satisfied with the job. My mind always running towards framing out plans to change the field, to persue my higher studies etc. I heard that 'Known Devil is Better than Unknown', but I don't know how far is it true. Do I need to take a step ahead returning back to studies to do M.Tech to settle in my core field (Electronics)as I am presently in instrumentation.I am not worried about the future of this field(Instrumentation) but rather worried about myself. What would be the case if I change my field and go for higher studies and later face the same or lack of proper job? It will be more painful than now.......... Since am young now, I have to take a step at this early stage if I want to change. But I am not justified by myself completely what is right. If someone can.....please............. Thanks Prakash
