Did we ever wonder why we get tears? Why do we cry? When someone says some hurtful words or when our own mind hurts us.
A little kid asked me what is a tear? I told him that when we feel sad or hurt ourselves, our mind cries, we get salt water droplets from our eyes one drop at a time so that we dont drench in it ourselves. Ha Ha...
But why does it have to be salty water? My mom says when me and my sister exchange salt on the dinner table, we get into fights and then we cry. May be that is causing the salt water in the form of water. Just kidding! I feel there is no reason of why tears are salty. There might be a scientific reason but not sure.
But this line from a movie 'Meenaxi' where the guy says to the girl is amazing about tears.
'Tears are like pearls in your eyes. Dont cry and wash away the pearls,keep them right there. Do not cry', the girl is speechless at this!! Even I was!
