Is it a Sin to take Dowry in all Cases?

Important: AS THIS SECTION'S NAME SAYS... I AM JUST 'SHARING MY THOUGHTS'. I DONT WANT TO IMPOSE THESE IDEAS ON ANYBODY. THIS IS JUST A LOGICAL ARGUEMENT. MAN IS SUPERIOR TO OTHER ANIMALS JUST BECAUSE HE CAN REASON. HE CAN THINK LOGICALLY. IF LOGIC CAN MAKE SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE. ALL OF US HAVE TO RESPECT IT. I WILL EXPLAIN WHY IT IS LOGICAL FOR ME TO ACCEPT DOWRY UNDER THE SPECIFIED CIRCUMSTANCES. IF ANYBODY HAS A BETTER REASON NOT TO TAKE DOWRY IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES I AM GONNA DESCRIBE... I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TALK TO THAT PERSON. WELCOME. Usually dowry is offered or taken only in arranged marriages. It is usually not the case in love marriages. In love marriages both the boy and the girl know each other and they have better reasons than money to marry each other. Now let us consider an arranged marriage. Both the boy and girl are strangers. The girls parents look for a guy who is good in character, good looking, from a good family, well educated, who has a decent to excellent job and he should have some property. Other requirements may range from a job in USA to green card or even cititzenship. The girls parents and the girl look for the fattest purse provided everything else is same for a given set of guys. That is nothing more than business. When the girls parents(hence the girl) are looking for so many things... What should the guys parents look for? Ofcourse how good she looks and How well she was brought up. What else?? Is that all? Definitely not. The girls parents are measuring the guy status by so many means other than beauty and character. Obviously the boy will do that too. In his own way though. When the girl sees at how much the guy earns or how rich he is, the guy can definitely expect the same from the girl. The guy inherit something from their parents. The girls need necessarily not. Making it simple, Say a guy is very handsome and very good. Good in every sense of the word. Will a parent of any girl give his daughter to him? I guess its impossible. A girl who doesnt bring dowry is nothing more than this particular guy. Taking dowry is nothing wrong to me. But that should all be done before marriage. Everything should be settled. If you dont like the amount they are offering just dont try to marry her or try to extort more (Thats what the girls do too. If they dont like your job they just dont marry you. It would make no sense if they marry you and then pester you to get a better job). Once married, thats it. There should be no more pestering for dowry or whatever. P.S. All this is just what I think. I am not gonna get any dowry. I am gonna marry my girl friend. But If I were to marry a stranger (which is not the case anyway) I would definitely take some dowry. After all I have worked 23 years to get to where I am now. A stranger cant enjoy my hard work for nothing. Whoever it is has to win it one way or other. By heart or by cash. And she has to prove it to me before marriage. I can't wait for it to happen after marriage. My girl proved it by heart. So I dont need any cash to marry her.
