Pesarattu.......believe me .This recipe will surely liked by you. Soak 2 cups green gram for 24 hours or more ,1 cup rice for 2 hours. Add salt and Jeera to it along with just sufficient water and grind it into a smooth paste. Paste should be loose curd consistency. Add jeera again to the paste. Cut many onions, green chillies,a piece of ginger into small pieces. Mix all these pieces along with little pepper, and a bit of salt. Spread the pesarattu dough onto the pan properly and on top of it add more mixture of onions etc and make them flat on the pesarattu. Add bit of oil around the pesarattu and fry till brown or red till crisp. Believe me this recipe when made is so delicious and you will surely enjoy it. storage tips Can store the dough in refrigerator for 3 days. Just you will have to cut onions etc. when ever you want this to be done. Additional information You can eat this pesarattu along with upma. Ginger chutney or coconut chutney is a good combination for this. Greengram is more tasty than yellowgram pesarattu. If you want it to be more crispy add more rice to it. If the dough is too loose you can add rice flour to it. Taste doesn't change.
