Every story, every epic and every film always gives the Mother character as a matter of Love and affection. Even the bad characters of women in many stories were mould in such a way that were shown that they always loved their own children though they were of bad character.
But i dont think that this is not totally true.
Good and bad qualities exist everywhere in this world, and even in mothers too. Manyatimes i heard people saying that no mother can be bad to her child.
But i contradict with this.
A couple of days ago, on the eve of Mothers' Day itself i came across some women who were cruel to their own children.
They were very disturbing scenes and i couldnt digest them. I observed a woman slapping her little child, who may be around 8years of age, in public. Ofcourse many of us might have been scolded and beaten by our mothers, but i think they were always pleasant memories in life, because we know that there are correct reasons for our mothers to scold us.
But this kid i have seen dint commit any mistake. What he have done is just sleeping. I cant even say sleeping, he was just about to sleep.
Ok i will explain the scene elaborately. I was in the railway station the Que to buy a ticket. That woman and and her husband both were in seperate Ques, and they left their child at a corner commanding him to take care of a suitcase. The que line was long so it took some time for the mother to buy ticket. And when she returned she observed her son sleeping. For that she roughly pulled his shoulder and slapped his tender cheeks. I still red his cheeks turned out. But i am helpless to prevent a mother from beating her child.
Similarly there are number of examples where i observed cruely of women towards their own children. manyatimes i read in newspapers about women who commit suicide forgetting about the duty to raise their months babies. And more horrifyingly there are instances where women also killed their babies along with themselves.
We can think that those women were tortured by husbands or someothers so they had to commit suicide.And they killed their kids 'cos they dont want their kids to suffer aftre their geath. But what kind of logic is this??If really everymother is good to her child, how can she die when her child needs her?? or how can she kill her?
There are mothers who be good to their sons but not to daughters and viceversa too. There are women who left with some other men, for just lust, leaving husbands and kids away. And knowing all these the world still says EVERY mother is good to her child.
Isnt this funny?
Finally, one who reads this may ask me, what i want to communicate with all this. I too dont know the answer. I just wanted to share my anguish towards the women who leave alone their children.
I dint mean to insult or comment every woman or mother. I accept, almost 95% of women are Good mothers. But the remaining 5% are bringing insult to motherhood.
