Introspection - Why is India still underdeveloped?

Why my motherland is lacking behind in many aspects compared to other countries. This question is hampering me from a long time. Even though i cannot find answers to all i want the people to think once. Is our country doesnt have enough resources? IS our country doesnt have enough intellectuals? Is our country doesnt have enoguh money? Is our country doesnt have enough man power? IS our country doesnt have enough ploiticans? IS our country doesnt have enough laws and regualrities? We have lot of resources from Uranium to Gold, from Natuaral gas to Water and anything which exists in the world either in huge or small quantites. So if any body says we dont have resources its absoultly wrong. We are the second largest country exporting rice, fourth country to have sattlite technology and one of the country which have necular power. And coming to brains, the new millenum technology(IT) proves that our country is not less than any other country in the world. zero to prime number algoritham (recently invented by Kanpur IITians) invented by none other than indians. I dont think our country doesnt have money. As everybody knows moeny is stocked at some few persons. I am not crtising the people who have much moeny. I am just worried why these people are not helping to build our nation, overcome poverty and make all of us equal (at least creating some jobs). Our country is of 1 billion poeple which may not a proud thing to say. But even though lot of brain drain is happening(I agree brain drain is better than brain dump)from past few years, still we have lot of intelligents in any technology. Ohh is our country doent have enough politicians? Yes our country doent have enoguh politicans who are honest,patriatic and have zeal to do some good things to the elected people. Every galli gunda is a politician in our country. Every politician is rich in our country (even though most of them are very poor before). Our country have enoguh laws to prevent irregularities and much loopholes also. Our country institution is one of the largest and most classified and well defined constitution in the world. I can say it is the best one in the world. Even though we have all these plus points why still india is lacking behind. When you stay in india you dont realise all these things. I mean we dont think why we are lacking behind. When we come out of the country we will think and introspect ourselves and we will find answers. First and the most important one is corruption. As we all know india is one of the most corrupted country in the world. When we want some work to be done we have(even though its a legal one) to achive it either throgh money or through power. Here i will expalin a small incident append to me. When i came to india last year after staying one year overseas and travelling from chennai to my native place in Andhra, i am stopped by 2 state police in the border and asked me to pay some money. Even though i have everything legal i am forced to pay them and all my mood of being coming back to my motherland was spoiled by those stupids. THis is a small incident for me . But i think every body is facing lot of like these in every day life. But in overseas i am not stopped by anybody till now, and asked me to pay without reason. Second one is population. When we got independence our population is less than half billion people. But we achived a great milestone in these 50 years by doubling our population. Another casue of undevelopment is poverty and illitrates. These 3 are realted to one another. And most of the empolyed always belives in destiny. In other countires they dont hesitiate to anyjob for thier rvival and every body is independent. But in our country if one doesnt get job means he will depend on others. So finally what i want to say is just do ourselves introspection. Everybody should become an INDIAN to through corruption out of our country. Make strict laws and close doors for loop holes. Vote to leaders who are good and well educated. Eventhough all these things are not posssible to implement in real life,its just like a rain drop in the ocean. May God bless us all. JAYHIND.
