Do We Need To Practise The Caste System?

On one hand the whole world is moving in the direction of fast development. But we the indians are still lagging in this direction by following the meaningless traditions like caste system. I really wonder how and from where this caste system had come to india when, we can find it no where in the world. SO I THINK WE ARE THE ONLY EDUCATED FOOLS IN THIS WHOLE WORLD. Today we are importing many fashions and so many goods from other countries. Then why can't we atleast copy them by eliminating this caste system from our society? I think there is no wrong if i say that the CASTE SYSTEM is one of the hurdles for our country's development. Is there any kind of people getting benifited by this caste system? our constitution says that everybody is equal befor law. If it so then why should we are still follow this system? Due to this students of open catagery are not getting full oppurtunities to expose their talents.Since we are following caste system there are reservations in every government office for different castes. I accept that reservations are meant for uplifting the backward classes. But my point is that if we remove the caste system where are the backward classes? In our society actually there are some rules and regulations and a specified work for every community. And these rules are strictly followed at one point of time. Now everybody in our country (irrespective of caste) is exposing thier pure talents and proving their capacity in all feilds. That means it is very clear that now a days we are not following the rules of caste system. Then why should we still follow this system? There are so many direct and immediate advantages if we eliminate the caste system. First thing is that we can overcome the internal disputes. Here i can give best example where this caste system is ruling the poeple. If you have a look over two good colleges in our state, one is nagarjuna university and sidhardha engineering college, its is very clearly seen the domination of a section of poeple. In nagarjuna university, students are carrying knifes and rods. Are these the tools meant for studying? Are these students coming for studying? These students on one hand spoiling their own lives and destroying so many innocent lives. strictly speaking some times these students are also not the direct cause for such violences. Some political leaders are using this youth for their benifits.Due to this so many innocent students are ending their lives when they are below 20 years. What about their families who had all hopes in them? so once if we are able to eliminate the caste system all this disturbances are stopped at once. This is the direct and immediate advantage we get if we do so. I know so many of you knew all these facts but no one is coming forward to solve this problem. why can't we propose our government to remove caste system from our constitution? I thinkt this is not that much difficult to work in this direction since we can get support from lot of people (its my guess). since i am a student and inexperienced in public life i don't know all the formalities to proceed any issue to the government. Even if you ask me 'what is your idea in this aspect' right now i can say only one thing that i will directly mail to our president to look this issue becuase i think he is the real devotee of this country and as he is in the highest post i think he can do something. So i request anybody to take initiative in this aspect or atleast suggest me something so that i can try to work in this regard. I am sure if we try to eliminate the caste system we are on the way to add our country in the list of developed nations. AND ONE MORE THING IS THAT IF AT ALL WE SUCCEED IN THIS ASPECT IT WILL GIVE BOOST TO LOT OF OTHERS TO UNITE AND THEY WILL START WORKING IN OTHER FIELDS. Its very obvious that for any sportsman one victory is enough to encourage him and to do better in future. so the same thing happens here too. WHAT DO YOU SAY? A JOURNEY OF THOUSAND MILES STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP. LET US WE WILL START OUR JOURNEY WITH THAT SINGLE STEP AND TRY TO SUCCEED IN THAT JOURNEY. Expecting support from you always, Balaji.
