Practically, every field on earth is now hungry for creative ideas and concepts. Let’s look at one example of this. We talk so much about IT nowadays but IT field is so severely lacking creativity that Microsoft, the world’s top most IT company is unable to come up with any great creative concepts despite spending around $7.5 billion per annum, the highest amount spent by any company on earth for R&D.
Creativity can be applied in any field. It’s not limited to just certain fields. Creativity is a high-end wisdom-based service.
The future belongs to those nations/organizations/individuals that have the creative ideas and concepts. India, despite producing the highest number of engineers and management professionals among the whole world, is hardly coming up with any trend-setting ideas and concepts.
Creativity creates employment. Creativity gives us unique identity and recognition. Creativity is about leadership. If we want to be the leaders, we have to come up with creative ideas and concepts. We can never become leaders and trend-setters by merely following or implementing others’ ideas and concepts; just the way it is happening now in India with IT or BPO.
