DGP promises transparent recruitment
Guntur, Nov 17 (INN): Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy on Thursday called upon Sub-Inspector and constable aspirants not to fall in the trap of middlemen, who promise to ensure their selection.
Talking to media persons after inspecting the Andhra Pradesh Special Police Rifle Range Centre at Undavalli in Mangalagiri mandal, Guntur district, the DGP stated that the candidates should not believe any promises made by middlemen, former staff or present staff of police department in the recruitments.
'There will be no chance for manipulation at any level and the recruitments will be conducted in a free and transparent manner without giving any room for suspicion. Meritorious candidates will be given top priority in the recruitments,' he claimed.
Dinesh Reddy warned of serious action against the middlemen if they try to cheat the aspirants with fake promises.
The DPG also claimed that his department was making all efforts to arrest Bhanu Kiran, the prime accused in the murder case of Maddela Cheruvu Suri.
Replying to a query, he blamed some senior police officers for filing petitions in the courts regarding the DGP post and creating controversy.
