TS Govt to evacuate people from Sudan Hyderabad, April 27 (INN): The Telangana Government is making necessary efforts to bring back its citizens who are stuck in Sudan and to support Operation Kaveri, which is being carried out by the central government. In this regard, a control room has been established at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. Gaurav Uppal, Resident Commissioner of Telangana Bhawan, Delhi, stated that they are coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs to obtain information about Telangana residents who are stranded in Sudan.
It has been reported that special flights are being arranged to bring back Indians from Sudan to Delhi and Mumbai. On Wednesday, four citizens from Telangana are among those scheduled to return. Those arriving in Delhi will be provided with food and accommodation at Telangana Bhavan. The authorities are making arrangements to bring them to Hyderabad from New Delhi.
Uppal emphasized that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the safe and comfortable return of Telangana residents stranded in Sudan. He also mentioned that the government is following the same process that was used to bring back citizens from Ukraine.
The Telangana Government is taking proactive steps to support its citizens during this challenging time and is committed to ensuring their safe and swift return.
