KVP challenges Chandrababu for a debate Hyderabad, Jan 8 (INN): Rajya Sabha member and Congress leader KVP Ramachandra Rao on Sunday demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to prove his charges implicating the Congress MP in alleged irregularities in Polavaram project.
In an open letter, KVP accused that the TDP chief of making baseless allegations against him and dared him to prove his charges by making public proof he has on the issue. He alleged that Chandrababu and his Cabinet colleagues are leveling baseless allegations against him that he was trying to stall the multi-purpose project. He demanded that the TDP chief release a white paper on the project, the amount spent and the status of the project. He also said that the he was ready for a debate on the issue and challenged Chandrababu Naidu to debate with him on the issue.
