Fisheries, sheep rearing to get boost in budget Hyderabad, Jan 10 (INN): Minister for Commercial taxes Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday the Telangana Government has released Rs 400 crore for the welfare of sheep rearing farmers and added that the government would enhance the allocation in the coming budget.
Speaking to media persons here, the minister said that the state government had taken up the promotion of blue revolution in an unprecedented way in the state. He said that Rs 100 crore were allocated for the development of fisheries department. He said that the government was planning to establish tow fisheries colleges and a training centre in the state as part of the promotion of blue revolution. He said that the state government's initiative of providing subsidized fish seed would boost fish yield with which government was aiming at increasing fish import.
