Fulfill promises or face people's ire: KCR told Mahbubabad, Jan 11 (INN): CPM State Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram demanded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to keep his words and fulfill all promises made during elections lest people would teach TRS a befitting lesson in the next Assembly elections. KCR will face people's ire if his party does not materialize promises made to the people, he added.
Speaking at a programme as part of his Mahajana padayatra at Maripeda in the district, CPM leader said that the TRS chief before elections had promised to work for people's welfare but after coming to power he is working for the interests of corporates and industrialists.
The CPM leader said that the CM was only trying t portray that he was working for the poor. The CM inaugurated a few double bedroom houses, he distributed land to a few land less poor dalits and left the work then and there itself. The CM is implementing his promises in some villages only while ignoring the beneficiaries in other parts of the state. He said that the farmers are striving for their survival but the government is adamant in waiving off their debts in one go. He took a dig at the TRS government saying that it was supporting demonetization policy which had put a vast majority of population in severe hardships.
