RIMS orthopaedics doctor in ACB net Kadapa, Aug 31 (INN): Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Tuesday nabbed a Civil Assistant Surgeon of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute Medical Sciences, Kadapa red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs five thousand for doing an official favour.
According to ACB sources, the orthopaedics doctor Dr Ramachandraiah was caught red handed in his chambers when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 5,000as bribe from the complainant for issuing a physically handicapped certificate.
Chemical test yielded positive result. The tainted amount was seized from the possession of official at his instance. The tainted doctor was arrested and is being produced before the Addl Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
