TANA is for everyone, not for any Individual Edison, New Jersey: Telugu Association of North America (TANA), the oldest and largest Telugu Association in the US and Canada is for the benefit and welfare of all Telugus, not for any individual, President Mohan Nannapaneni said at a gathering held in New Jersey on Saturday night.
TANA has more than 40 years of history and it represents both the Telugu states in India, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and all the communities, he said. TANA has to be lead by people who always work hard for others, he said while talking at a gathering attended by several prominent TANA leaders from all over the United States.
He requested to vote for the people who are working hard to help Telugus in need in the United States and Canada. He remembered a number of unfortunate incidents happened for the Telugu community members in North America over the last few years. TANA and it's service initiative Team Square is available 24/7 to help the Telugu community, He said.
He supported Satish Vemana as Executive Vice President, Ravi Potluri as Joint Secretary, Laxmi Devineni as RVP, New York and New Jersey Area in the coming TANA elections. He also supported Ramakanth Koya and Anil Kumar Veerapaneni as TANA Foundation Trustees, Madhusudhan Tata as Secretary, Murali Vennam as Treasurer.
The program was organized by Laxmi Devineni with the help of TANA supporters and well-wishers in the New York, New Jersey area at the Nala Bheema Restaurant in Edison.
Rao Yalamanchili, RVP, New England, Several TANA supporters and life members including Ramana Mannem, Teja Kodali, NRC Naidu, Srinivas Oruganti, Radhakrishna Nallamalla, Raghu Yadullapalli, Nagaraju Nallajala attended the program.
