MP Kavitha Launches NRI TRS Wing The official launch of the NRI TRS-USA wing has been conducted in a grand manner at Minneapolis in North America. The local leaders and TRS party admirers gave a warm welcome to Nizamabad MP Kalwakuntla Kavitha at 9 AM at the airport.
Later it took more than two hours for the TRS MP to reach the Nath Auditorium in a spectacular rally of 200 cars. It was like a grand fair amid the applause of the TRS admirers along the way with the waving of TRS flags. The local police officials supervised the security arrangements.
The NRIs gave a red-carpet welcome to Kavitha by showering the rain of roses from a chop. On account of the official launch of the NRI TRS-USA wing, the Divine Pundits gave a Poornakumbha welcome to the MP at the Hindu Temple of Minnesota and performed special rituals and gave her the divine
blessings. Later Kavitha launched the NRI TRS-USA wing by lighting the lamp. Subsequently, the participants paid rich tributes to those proud Telanganites who laid their lives for the formation of separate Telangana state.
The TRS MP, Kavitha, addressing the jubilant and over-crowded audience, underscored the importance of giving wide publicity to the government's prestigious schemes such as Mission Kakatiya, Water Grid, Asara, Kalyana Lakshmi, etc. She exhorted all the party-men to work in coordination with all the US NRI groups of Telangana. She invited several NRIs to join the party by honouring them with the party scarfs. The local NRI leader Mahipathi Nagendar presided over the function. While addressing the gathering Nagendar said that the NRI TRS-USA wing will strive to be a bridge between the TRS party of Telangana state and the NRI
society of the USA. Explaining the bountiful uses of the government's scheme, there were few short films on the Mission Kakatiya scheme at the function. The NRIs appreciated the Mission Kakatiya scheme by terming it as a Mega useful scheme that transforms every village into an economically and socially strong one. Several NRIs promised to extend all possible contribution from them to make the scheme a big success. Later the NRI women performed the puja with Bonalu and danced to the tunes of Bathukamma. The cultural programmes were a special attraction at the celebration.
The audience were all eyes and ears to the songs sung by Janardhan Pannela. The huge cut-out of the Telangana Chief Minister Chandra Sekhara Rao was a highlight at the function. The NRIs spent a couple of hours by firing crackers on account of the victorious celebrations at Minneapolis in North America. The participants raised several slogans in favour of the party.
