ATA celebrates summer fest in New Jersey American Telugu Association (ATA) has held ATA Summer Fest 2015 on Aug 23rd at Thompson Park, NewJersey USA. More than five hundred adults and children from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware and Connecticut attended the Fest. There was an overwhelming response from youth and seniors alike.
Everyone enjoyed fun filled activities including games for children, adults and various cultural programs. ATA also conducted a Volleyball tournament as part of the Summer Fest. The Fest was attended by ATA President SudhakarPerkari, Jt. Treasurer Suresh Jilla and many community leaders from various organizations. Many attendees praised ATA Team for their efforts for conducting such a big event in the park .
The Fest started with tattooing and face painting for kids, Mehndi for women, and then games for Kids and Adults. Large number of teams participated in this exciting and competitive tournament. NBT-1 team emerged as the Champion, and NJ Indians as runners-up. All winners were awarded with trophies.
All Adults and kids participated in Games, like Bingo and other fun filled games. Tug of war was another attracting game and every one participated and it was really a big fun and every one enjoyed. All participants divided into 3 groups, Kids, ladies and gents. Each group was divided into two groups and war was in between these groups. All the games were well organized by Raj Chilumula, Indira Dixith and ATA volunteers.
Throughout the event, there were many amazing performances by children. Melodious songs by local New Jersey singers Leela and Krishna Rani, brought lightening excitement in the crowd and got a huge applauses!
ATA Organizing committee expressed their thanks to all their supporters who made this event a grand success. Also they thanked Suresh Jilla for Photography and Indira Dixith for DJ Services.
This event was coordinated by Parmesh Bheemreddy and organized by local coordinators Mahi Sannapareddy, Ravinder Marpragda and Regional Director Raghuveer Reddy, and supported by local trustees Ravi Patlola, Parushuram Pinnapureddy, Srini Durgala, Venu Sankineni, Laxman Anugu, Vinod Kodur, Executive Director Krishna Dyapa, ATA Convention Ad-hoc Committee member Vijay Kundur, and other local ATA leadership Sreekanth Gudipati, Varun Mandadi, Raj Seelam, Vijay Gangula, Arun Ayyagari, Srinivas Ranabothu and Longtime ATA members and friends of ATA Narayana Pirlamarlaand, Ramesh Maganti.
