RPF rescue kidnapped girl at Secunderabad Hyderabad, April 1 (INN): The Railway Protection Force Personnel of South Central Railway rescued a 16-year-old girl by name Saritha (name changed) while she was kidnapped by a person Satish at Secunderabad Railway station on Wednesday.
While the RPF personnel combing the platform to clear unauthorized persons during midnight of 31st March, Asst. Sub Inspector / RPF Srinivas Reddy and Home Guards spotted the girl, a resident of Bellampally, with Satish. Further enquiry revealed that both eloped from their home around two days back and tried to take shelter in their friend's houses at Hyderabad but in vain. Hence they came in the night for taking shelter at Secunderabad Railway Station.
The RPF personnel immediately swung into action and message was passed to the relatives of the girl who in turn passed the information to Bellampally police. It was learnt that Satish had kidnapped the girl and a case of kidnapping was also registered against him. Later, both were handed over to Bellampally police for further action.
