Act against corporate institutes: YSRCP Hyderabad, Jan 9 (INN): The YSR Congress Party on Monday demanded the government to initiate probe into the increasing number of students' suicides in private education institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy said that the private institutions were making money by collecting huge fees from students. He said that the corporatization of education was increase and it has hit the education sector badly. He said that the government was turning a blind eye towards the corporate institutions who are harassing the students and their parents forcing them to take extreme step like ending their lives.
Taking a dig at Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who announced huge prize money for Nobel Prize winner, the YSRCP MLA said that Chandrababu has no idea about the concept of Nobel Prize.
