Hyderabad, April 9 (INN): State Planning Commission Vice President Boinapally Vinodkumar said that the BRS party will win 100 seats under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the assembly elections to be held in Telangana this year.
He spoke at a press conference at Sangeet Nilayam in Vemulawada. He said that everyone from the village level worker to the Mandal level was organizing Atmiya Sammelan meetings in a grand way. He said that MLAs were fully busy in strengthening the party while tackling small problems.
Party Executive President and Minister KTR talks to MLAs from time to time at every Atmiya Sammelana meeting. He said that the MLAs were working with the aim of winning the next election while explaining the development and welfare.
He dismissed the claims that the party was changing the MLAs in some places and termed them rumours. He said that Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu will contest from the Vemulawada constituency. He said that Atmiya Sammelan meetings will be completed in all the Mandals of the Vemulawada constituency within a week.
He said that CM KCR was also briefed on the performance of Vemulawada Government Hospital and he expressed his happiness. He reminded that people crowned CM after winning Telangana state in 2014. He said that the per capita income of citizens which was 1.6 lakhs at the time of the formation of the state has increased to Rs 3.17 lakhs. In response to a question in the Parliament, Vinod Kumar reminded that the Union Minister himself had said that Telangana was a state that is fast growing and providing welfare in the country and the per capita income has increased.
