No place for hate in Hyderabad: KTR Hyderabad, April 18 (INN): State IT and Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao clarified that Hyderabad was an amalgamation of different cultures. He said that the number of employees in the technology sector has increased from 3.25 lakh to 10 lakh in the last nine years. He inaugurated the new unit of Global Alternative Investment Assets Service CITCO at Hyderabad Knowledge City on Tuesday.
He said on this occasion, Hyderabad welcomes all cultures. There is no place for nonsense, hatred and violence here, he reiterated. Minister KTR said that education, academic, innovation and environmental systems are more important. Law and order are strict here, he added.
The minister mentioned that a centre for image towers, animation, gaming, and multimedia was being built here. Spread over 18 acres, it will be the world's largest innovation campus. CITCO has taken a smart decision by choosing Hyderabad for this, he lauded.
Citco Manila has 3,500 people, while the Toronto Center has only 2,500 people. Hyderabad is home to Amazon's largest campus, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, Google, Uber, Micron, and Qualcomm and the second largest campus in Hyderabad. In this order, the world's second-largest campus of SITCO should be in Hyderabad, let's make it a reality, said KTR.
