Telangana movement in School Syllabus Warangal, Aug 15: 'All the movements in the World history have become lessons in the school syllabus, but not the Telangana Movement' said MLC and noted Educationist Chukka Ramaiah on Sunday at a program held at the District Court in Hanmakonda. The program is organised by the Bar Association. 'Though the movement started in 1956 and going on for decades it is not included in the school syllabus. It must be included in the syllabus', he demanded.
Ramaiah urged the Telangana leaders not to criticise the Andhra people but asked them to focus on increasing pressure on the Central Government to get the separate Telangana at the earliest possible.
District Judge Ashok Babu, Bar Association President Vaddiraju Ganesh attended the program.
