Donakonda to become an industrial hub! Ongole, November 17. CBN's Government is now focusing on developing backward areas that have been neglected by the previous Government.
Plans are being drawn up to transform Donakonda in Prakasam District into an industrial hub. Currently, the State Government holds a land bank of 45,000 acres in Donakonda.
Apart from improving the basic amenities in the region, the road between Kurnool-Donakonda and Donakonda-Addanki will be extended into 4-lanes.
The government has taken steps to introduce 24x7 power supply to the domestic consumers and industries and it will attract the entrepreneurs to set up industries. The government has decided to develop the Ramayapatnam port for the convenience of exporters.
The government has a proposal to supply water to the industries from the Veligonda project.
The government has already directed the officials to take steps to set up airport at Donakonda for the convenience of the industrialists those who set up industries.
Meanwhile, the entrepreneurs are waiting for new industrial policy to be announced by the government to get concessions and subsidies to set up industries.
