TANA Elections Kickoff in Bay Area It is well known fact that in the history of Telugu Association of North America (TANA), elections are being conducted between two internal groups for the first time to elect the new executive team of TANA. In this context a meeting was organised at peacock hall of Milpitas, Bay area under the leadership of Bhakta Bhalla and Chandra Guntupalli to campaign for the elections.
The event was arranged on the evening of Saturday and around 300 members of TANA attended it. The members were divided into two groups and from one side Ram Yalamanchali is contesting for the post of President, Bhakta Bhalla for Secretary, Suren Pathuri for Treasurer, Bulliah Chowdary for joint Secretary and Chandra Guntupalli for California regional coordinator.
Speaking Bhakta Balla has reminded everybody to vote of their choice and choose leaders wisely'as this will greatly affect telugu community to bring back to it's roots. "Ballots will be mailed on 30th March 2015, please cast your vote by choosing the right person of your choice and send them back on the prepaid post envelope by April 24 2015" he added.
Chandra Guntupalli who is contesting for California Regional Representative requested everyone to'cast'their valuable vote without wasting it'by not selecting anybody. Bulliah Chowdary and Suren'Pathuri expressed their immense interest'in serving the community.
The members expressed their confidence of winning the elections and promised to encourage youth by every means if they were given the power. They also promised to extend the services of TANA in America and work for its all round development.
Friends of Bhakta Balla;'Subba Yantra, Dileep kondiparthi, 'Subbarao Neelisetti, Kalyan Palla,'Murali Godavarthi, Suresh Vuyyuru, Srinivas Mannapragada requested everyone to cast their valuable vote to the new team.
