Four killed, two injured in road accidents Hyderabad, Dec 15 (INN): Four persons were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in the city and its outskirts.
A 22-year-old auto-driver, B Devender, died on the spot while two passengers were injured when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in was hit by a speeding lorry coming from opposite direction near Bollaram on Saturday night. The injured persons, identified as Ramchander and Mallesh, are undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital. Bollaram police registered a case against the lorry driver. The deceased auto-driver was a resident of Bollaram.
In a similar case, 60-year-old S Ramulu of Nallakunta succumbed to the injuries which he suffered on November 16 after the auto-rickshaw he was driving was hit by an unidentified vehicle near EMRI in the Pet Basheerabad police limits. He was undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Saturday night.
In another case, 60-year-old K Indiramma died of injuries which she suffered after being hit by a bike near Kachiguda crossroads on Friday. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she succumbed on Saturday night. According to Kachiguda police, Indiramma was a resident of Moosa Nagar of Chaderghat and a used to work as a maid servant.
In a separate case, the unidentified man who was injured after being hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Ghansi Miyanguda on December 13, died at the OGH on Saturday night. According to Shamshabad police, the deceased was aged about 35 years. The body has been preserved at the OGH mortuary for post-mortem and identification.
