Naidu promises satellite township for Eluru ELURU: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that a satellite township would be developed on the government lands around Eluru.
This was announced by him during a roadshow at Eluru Wednesday evening. He promised to develop all the districts on par with the state capital.
Measures will be taken to supply the Godavari water to all the villages in the state, Chandrababu said. He has commenced his roadshow behind schedule at 7.30 pm. He reached Eluru by chopper from Tanuku and was forced to stay in CR Reddy College where the helipad landed.
Addressing the people in the roadshow, Chandrababu Naidu also promised that his government would come to the rescue of any woman in five minutes, after receiving a call. The TDP will give necessary security to women. The Congress government diluted the Nirbhaya Act, he added.
All the DWACRA loans also be waived. AICC president Sonia Gandhi can take the credit for destroying the country against the wishes of Mahatma Gandhi, Babu said.
The elections this time are a fight between dharma and adharma and the people should support dharma, he said. The BJP and Pavan Kalyan's efforts will benefit the BJP-TDP alliance, he added.
SMART cards will be issued to all the people for the effective implementation of welfare schemes and it will be implemented with transparency and accountability. The revenue generated in Hyderabad cannot be allotted to Seemandhra after the division of the state, the TDP supremo said.
