Survey to identify beneficiaries of schemes: GHMC Chief Hyderabad, Aug 8 (INN): GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar said that the main aim of the 'Samagrah Kutumba Survey' was to identify the people of Telangana who are really in need of the government schemes.
As many 2200 personnel were trained by the GHMC to undertake the survey. They were briefed about the information to be filled in survey report and how to clarify doubts, if any. One nodal officer has been appointed for each of the 150 wards in the GHMC limits.
For large size wards, two officials have been deployed. There will one Supervisor for a group of 10 Enumerators. Another training camp will be held on Monday and Tuesday for the officials.
The Commissioner said that the Enumerator must visit the households in two visits i.e., Previsit -1 and Previsit-2. The first pre-visit will be taken up on Sunday (August 17) and the Enumerator will get familiar with the area and the people and to know the allotted houses identification etc., so that they can visit the allotted houses on the first visit.
The second pre visit will be on August 18th (Monday), the Enumerators will be given pamphlets to distribute to the households to know the information to be filled in the survey report and also they will know what all the necessary documents will be produced by reading the pamphlet, with this type of pre visits the survey can be done in a very easy manner.
Somesh Kumar has appealed all the citizens of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to participate in the survey on 19th August, 2014 without fail and be benefited for the new schemes which are going to be introduced by Government of Telangana. The Collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy are planning to declare a Government Holiday on that day.
