CATS to raise funds for Cyclone victims Capitol Area Telugu Society (CATS) has come forward and took the initiative to help the victims of Hudhud cyclone in Andhra Pradesh. The society mainly focussed on remote villages where relief efforts are not in full affect. So it decided to adopt five villages namely Muthhyalammapalem, Tikkavanipalem, Dibbalapalem, Samingapalem and Jalaripeta of Parawada Mandal in Visakhapatnam District. CATS in coordination with MEECONS, a non-profit organization, is trying to bring the life of 2000 families, which are severely affected by cyclone in those five fisherman villages to normalcy. So it requested NRIs to show their generosity by donating their bit, which will help the victims directly. ''Government and a few organizations are doing relief work, more concentration is needed at places where help didn't reach yet and who are more effected and need more help both materialistic and humanitarian'' it said. Providing drinking water, individual assistance and family assistance are the main areas of concentration in the relief efforts by CATS.
