20th TANA Conference raised 1.6 Million in Detriot Detroit, USA: Telugu Association of North America (TANA) kicked off it's 20th Conference with a grand fund raising event on Saturday night at Detriot. 1.6 Million dollars or approximately Rs. 10 crore were raised in the single event.
Mohan Nannapaneni, TANA President, Gangadhar Nadella, Convention Convener and Niranjan Sringavarapu, Treasurer took the lead for the fund raising event. Secretary Sateesh Vemana got the privilege of gaving the first check for the 20th conference.
Detriot being very strong ground for TANA historially, this 20th Convention is expected to be a mega event. Convention is going to be held at COBO Hall in Detroit from July 2nd to 4th, 2015.
Kick-Off and fundraiser event was held at St. Thoma Hall in Farmington Hills in the Detroit Suburbs. Detroit Telugu Association (DTA) is going to be the Host Organisation for the Convention.
TANA Executive Team, Board of Trustees and several past presidents participated in the kick-off event including Jayaram Komati, President Elect Chowdary Jampala, Murali Vennam, Naren Kodali, Chala Kondrakunta, Jayadev Appannagari, Gangadhar Nadella, Ravi Potluri, Vidya Garapati and many others.
