HMDA gets Rs 50 Cr for plantation Hyderabad, March 27 (INN): The Telangana Government on Friday accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs 50 crore towards Plantation Programme under Haritha Telangana in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area.
The amount is being as assistance to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
In another development, the State Government permitted the Telangana Drinking Water Supply Corporation (TDWSC) to borrow Rs 2500 crore from HUDCO for drinking water project.
The Government of Telangana would stand guarantee for HUDCO loan repayment covering principle and interest with budgetary support. The balance scheme cost will be met by the State Government through budgetary support.
