SCSC launches 'She Shuttles' in Cyberabad Hyderabad, June 29 (INN): The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) on Monday rolled out 'She Shuttles', an exclusive women only transport system for the transit safety of women employees in the Cyberabad IT Corridor.
She-Shuttles is an integrated transport solution which leverages cutting edge technologies and infrastructure to provide a safe and smart ride for its commuters especially for last mile transport. It has a full time lady security guard, 24 Hour Monitoring from Central Control Room at Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, Smart App for every passenger with Panic Mode Travellers can see the dynamic location of the bus in the Smart App at any given time and save time spent in waiting for the shuttle. It also has the ability to integrate with Company Security, Whatsapp Control Room and Citizen Marshalls from the IT Corridor.
The service is free for all women employees of SCSC member companies and it operates from Shuttle Services from 8 AM to 10 PM.
The She Shuttles have been procured with the funds released by the TSIIC and shall be run with the funds sponsored by DLF IT Park and Ascendas IT Park. The bus also packs with it "Reach Safe' Women safety App which has been developed and deployed by Votary Tech, a leading technology company from Hyderabad specialising in solutions for SMART cities
Two SHE shuttles have been launched during the event by Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rama Rao and Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy at the Raheja Mind Space here on Monday.
Speaking on the event, SCSC Secretary Bharani Kumar Aroll said that, "The SHE Shuttle is yet another trendsetting initiative being launched by SCSC, a first of its kind in the entire country. SCSC, in its pursuit for promoting safety and security to the Cyberabad IT Corridor, is planning on unleashing many such progressive initiatives particularly towards the women safety." The Transport Minister stated that the safety and security of women was of high priority for the Government of Telangana. He mentioned that transport solutions like She-Shuttle which integrates cutting edge technology with transport will be explored for extension to the other parts of the state.
Addressing the gathering, KTR expressed his satisfaction on the yeomen work undertaken by the SCSC and the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate for the promotion of the safety and security of the Women Employees of the IT Sector. He stated that the Non-AC Buses were launched on a pilot basis and announced that 4 more Air Conditioned buses would be sanctioned for the She-Shuttle buses. He expressed satisfaction that SCSC has been initiating projects which have been hither fore to unheard of in India
Cyberabad Police Commissioner CV Anand congratulated the SCSC for the new initiative.
