Kotagiri's son to join YSRCP on Jan 29 Hyderabad, Jan 15 (INN): The YSRCP, which is facing defections of its MLAs and senior leaders to the ruling party, on Sunday received a shot in the arm with Kotagiri Sridhar, son of former minister and senior TD leader Kotagiri Vidyadar Rao, is set to join the Opposition party.
Kotagiri Sridhar on Sunday met Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress Jagan Mohan Reddy and expressed his willingness to join the party.
Sridhar met Jagan at his residence and held talks with YSRCP leaders. Speaking to media persons later, Sridhar said that the YSRCP was raising issues of the poor and the middle classes as the government failed to solve them. He said that he would strive for YSRCP victory and said that Jagan as the Chief Minister would do justice to all if elected in 2019 elections. He said that he would join YSRCP formally on January 29 at Dwaraka Tirumala in West Godavari district.
Former minister and YSRCP leader Pilli Subash Chandra Bose and others were present.
