Raghuveera slams Modi for KVIC diary row Vijayawada, Jan 16 (INN): APCC president Dr. N Raghuveera Reddy on Monday slammed the NDA government at the Centre for omitting the photograph of Mahatma Gandhiji from the KVIC diary.
In a statement, Raghuveera Reddy said that the government's act of replacing Gandhiji's photo with that of Narendra Modi was unfortunate and termed as an insult to the Father of the Nation. He demanded Modi to apologize to the nation for showing disrespect to Gandhiji.
The APCC leader alleged that the BJP leaders from the beginning were trying to insult the Congress leaders and other freedom fighters. The real face of Modi came to the fore with this cheap act, he remarked. He said that the senior BJP leaders were behind the decision to omit Gandhiji's photograph from the KVIC diary and warned BJP and RSS not to indulge in such unwarranted acts in future.
