TS Forest Dept using AI for study Hyderabad, May 8 (INN): Artificial intelligence is bringing many changes in the world of technology. The Telangana government is contemplating to utilize this technology in the forest.
Cameras that work with the help of artificial intelligence are placed in key areas of forests. They take pictures of various animals, birds and plants. This makes it easier to study the different species living in forests. Also, the plan of the authorities is to catch the poachers as well.
AI-based forest biodiversity conservation platform is currently being implemented as a pilot project in Amrabad Tiger Reserve and Kawal Tiger Reserve. Here the AI processed four million images.
Experts say that this way, forest officials can get information about all kinds of living things without going into the forest.
