NBM Law College adjudged Best Affiliated College at AU centenary fete Visakhapatnam: NBM Law College has brought laurels to the city by bagging the Best Affiliated College award under Andhra University at the varsity's centenary celebrations. The college won five prestigious awards in total.

At a function held on Thursday at the AU Convention Hall on Beach Road, former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu felicitated Dr. D.V. Ramana, Dean of NBM Law College, for his long-standing contribution as Principal and for steering the college to excellence. The awards were presented during 'Lex Eminence', a programme organised by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law.
Addressing the gathering, Venkaiah Naidu said the mother tongue is like one's mother and English is like spectacles, urging parents and teachers not to neglect the mother tongue. Recalling his journey from a rural background, he told students that perseverance can take anyone to great heights.
'India has always been a guide to the world,' he said, adding that lawyers have a key role in eradicating corruption and clearing pending cases. He also stressed the need for everyone to focus on environmental protection and the preservation of Indian values.
He called upon advocates to always stand on the side of justice and play an active role in curbing rising cybercrimes and offences against women. He advised youth to make effective use of modern tools like AI for growth and innovation.
Legal luminaries, faculty members, and a large number of students attended the event. The academic community expressed great joy over NBM Law College's achievement.
