Inaugural Boulders Classic golf tournament in Hyderabad from April 14 DP World PGTI makes its debut at Boulder Hills Golf Country
Hyderabad: The inaugural Boulders Classic will be jointly staged by Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club and the DP World PGTI, the official governing and sanctioning body of men's professional golf in India, at the iconic Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club from April 14 to April 17.
The DP World PGTI makes its debut at the magnificent Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club with the staging of the Rs 1 crore Boulders Classic.
The tournament will witness participation of 132 professional golfers from across India and from overseas, making it one of the most competitive and anticipated events on the DP World PGTI calendar.
Played in a Stroke Play Format, the championship promises high-quality golfing action and intense competition among the country's top talent.
PGTI thanks its umbrella partner DP World, a global logistics leader, as well as its Tour Partne Axis Bank, Amul, Amrutanjan Enerlyte, Campa, Golf Plus Monthly and Golf Design India, for contributing to the growth and promotion of professional golf in India.
The tournament is supported by venue partners Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club and T Golf Foundation, associate partner Casagrand, Hospitality partner Novotel and HICC and F&B Partners Fusion 9 and Artistry.
The field will be headlined by India's international stars Shubhankar Sharma (two-time DP Worl Tour winner) and Yuvraj Sandhu (DP World Tour regular and 2025 DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion). The other leading Indian names participating are 2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit leader Saptak Talwar, Veer Ahlawat, Om Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas, Honey Baisoya and Ajeetesh Sandhu, to name a few.
The leading foreign player at the event is Sri Lankan N Thangaraja. There are 20 foreign players participating from 10 different countries.
The local challenge will be led by Hyderabad-based professionals Mohd Azhar, Vishesh Sharma, Syed Safdar Hussain, SNLG Varam Raju, Sumit Kotwal and Anirudh Kamireddypalli.
