Pulsus Group to expand Ameenpur AI healthcare hub
Hyderabad: Pulsus Group has announced plans to expand its Ameenpur AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub, targeting 6,000 direct and 30,000 indirect jobs as it scales operations at the 35-acre campus in Telangana.
The company said the move follows a Supreme Court ruling that upheld the project's IT/ITeS and SEZ status, clearing the way for accelerated development and fresh investment. Pulsus said the decision provides the certainty needed to advance its plans in artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, and digital services.
Pulsus cited its employment record under the India BPO Promotion Scheme. Parliamentary records show that Omics International generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022 and is completing around 6,000 direct jobs in Visakhapatnam, while supporting an estimated 30,000 indirect jobs. The records also recognize the company's Ameenpur operations, where employment has created about 1,500 of 6,000 direct jobs so far.
With the legal clarity from the Supreme Court, Pulsus has fast-tracked plans to scale the ₹500 crore Ameenpur campus into a major AI healthcare and digital services hub and increase its workforce to 6000.
'The Ameenpur project, located near Miyapur, was envisioned as a hub for technology and employment generation. Despite delays caused by legal and regulatory challenges, we remained committed to this vision. With the project now gaining ITES-SEZ status, our goal is to accelerate efforts to establish one of Telangana's leading AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation campuses, creating more than 6,000 high-quality jobs for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and digital specialists,' said Gedela Srinubabu, CEO, Pulsus Group.
Pulsus plans to collaborate with universities, research institutions, healthcare organisations, startups, and technology companies to develop an ecosystem supporting innovation, research, and global service delivery.
